MN Trades Academy Ends on a High Note!

WBLAS acknowledges 3 WBLAHS MN Trades Academy (MTA) Graduates. Abi Lillo, Griffin Guttormson, and Joe Schrankler graduated from the honorable MN Trades Academy. Lillo is a rising WBLAHS Junior. She not only received a Perfect Attendance Award, but she also was awarded the Most Dedicated Intern overall. Guttormson is a rising Senior who will be a PSEO student at the Finishing Trades Institute of the Upper Midwest this year. Finally, Schrankler graduated with a Perfect Attendance Award and plans to pursue the Electrical Trades after graduation. Congratulations to all of the MN Trades Academy graduates!

A big shout out goes to Career Pathways and CTE Instructor, Dan Rossiter who led the MN Trades Academy program at WBLAHS - North Campus. Students built cribbage boards, wooden chairs, birdhouses, and DIY projects. An important component to MTA is to give back to the community. MTA Interns built a shed that will be used at WBLAHS - North Campus. Many skilled trades were needed to complete the project. Student Interns completed the hybrid internship while still creating lasting relationships. Thank you Dan and congratulations to another great year!
