Northern Tool Donates $5,000 to WBL Career Pathways

Northern Tool + Equipment visited WBLAHS - South Campus on Thursday, December 9, to announce and present a donation of tools and equipment at a value of $5,000 to the school’s career and technical education programs. Included in the donation, Northern Tool provided gift cards and other items to select Career Pathway students. The donated tools for the school included items such as Klutch steel welding tables, Century by Lincoln Electric Inverter Arc 230 DC Arc Welders, and Klutch 2-Tier welding carts.

To celebrate the donation, Northern Tool worked with WBLAHS' Manufacturing & Applied Engineering class on a special project in which the students welded a metal sign for the WBLAS Bear Care Clinic. As part of Northern Tool’s 40th anniversary, the company is making contributions to several Minnesota schools through its Tools for the Trades program. The initiative encourages and empowers students to pursue a career in the skilled trades by making equipment donations.
