White Bear Lake Area High School is proud to announce the hiring of Corey Larson as the new Head Coach of the Boys' Cross Country Team.

Senior Benedict Hoefer qualified for the MSHSL Boys' State Swim & Dive Meet after placing second in the 200 freestyle during the Section 4AA meet on Feb. 21.

Indiana Kane, a member of the Boys' Wrestling Team, will compete in the MSHSL State Tournament this week at Grand Casino Arena after placing second in the Section 4AAA individual tournament in his respective weight group.

The WBLAHS Gymnastics Team won the Section 4AA championship and is competing at the state meet February 20, with team leader Grace Mueller competing in all-around on February 21.

WBLAHS Girls' Hockey Team forward Madelyn Lee was named one of 10 semifinalists for the Ms. Hockey Award.

The WBLAHS Boys' and Girls' Nordic Ski Teams competed at the Section 4A tournament at Battle Creek Regional Park on Feb. 5.

The WBLAHS Varsity Cheer team competed at the National High School Cheerleading Championship Feb. 6-8. They placed third out of 48 teams for their Game Day Routine consisting of a band dance, crowd leading section and the traditional school song.

On February 4, we celebrated National Girls & Women In Sports Day! It was a great opportunity to recognize the achievements of our female student-athletes and coaches. On this day and every day, we celebrate our girls and recommit to continuing our efforts to empower girls and women in sports here at White Bear Lake Area High School. 

Two members of the WBLAHS Boys' Alpine Ski Team and one member of the Girls' Alpine Ski Team are heading to the State Tournament after a great showing during the Section 7 championships at Giants Ridge on Feb. 3.
