18 high school students who have completed a Future Bear Educator course and are pursuing a career in education were honored during a celebration event which was captured in this video issue of the district's The Week in 62.4 Seconds.
Students were recognized and presented with a Future Bear Educator tassel and pin while their families and supporters looked on. The Future Bear Educators Program provides students with an opportunity to explore a career in education while still in high school.
Students can take college-level courses, participate in a work-based learning program and get hands-on experience - all while preparing to become an educator in our community. This innovative program is one of nine Career Pathways opportunities for White Bear students.
