WBLAHS - North Campus dates and map

I am excited to share that the transition to the newly-constructed 3-story addition is going smoothly and is progressing as planned! We are so excited to welcome students to this brand new space to kick off second semester on January 30.

Please see below for details and important dates:

  • January 23-January 27 are non-school days for all North Campus students so that staff can move everything from the current North Campus building to the new 3-story addition.
  • January 26 from 6-8pm the new portion of North Campus will be open so that all students, families and community members can come and see and explore the new space! See an invitation here.
  • January 27 from 9am-3pm the new portion of North Campus will be open exclusively for current North Campus students and families so they can come in and explore the space! See additional details here.
  • January 30 students will return to school and enter the newly-constructed part of the building off of Bald Eagle Avenue.
  • January 30-February 3 students will follow their Semester 2 schedule, as well as participate in several orientation activities including:
    • Tour of the building
    • Scavenger hunt
    • Safety information and lockdown drill
    • Bear Bingo

This map of the new parking lot highlights Parent Drop-off & Pick-up locations, the Bus Loop, and designated parking for Students, Staff and Visitors. As you will see, our morning/afternoon traffic will be routed off of the street and into the parking lot area. Staff members will be stationed outside to help direct traffic as we get used to this new system, but we are excited to see this new process up-and-running very soon!

If you or your student have any questions or concerns regarding the transition, please do not hesitate to contact me. The staff at North Campus are so excited, and we want to make this transition as smooth as possible for students.

Go Bears!

Sincerely,
Ang Nelson
WBLAHS North Campus Principal
