Automotive Technology 2: Steering and Suspension is a level two course in which students will learn about the principles and practices of the steering and suspension system in an automotive. Building on the foundational knowledge from the Introduction to Automotive Technology course, students will learn about tires, modern suspension systems, steering systems, power assist, and wheel alignments. Aligned with the Automotive Service Excellence's A4: Steering and Suspension Systems, this comprehensive and industry-relevant learning experience will empower students to diagnose, maintain, and repair an automobile's steering and suspension system safely. This curriculum will also foster the development of essential work habits and ethics consistent with occupational standards while also preparing them for future careers in the transportation industry.
