This course continues your experience with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining, machining software, and related parametric modeling applications gained in HS2728. Students will gain more experience with machining software and related parametric modeling applications, the process of part design, CNC programming, and milling parts to specs through hands-on projects. Experiences in this course will provide students with a competitive edge when entering post-secondary opportunities. This course is extremely valuable for students who are considering careers in Engineering, Manufacturing, CNC Machining, Automation, Robotics, or any person who is interested in making things. Articulated credits may be available through Minnesota community and technical colleges with successful completion of course work at the acceptable level of the partnering technical college.
There may be a cost of materials fee for any take home assignment.
