Course Number: HS2502

This is a course that will provide students with information and/or strategies around many health issues that teens deal with every day. The class will be structured to allow an in-depth study of: mental illness diagnoses, treatment and prevention, stress management/reduction and coping strategies, stages of grief and loss, healthy relationship and communication strategies, mindset research and training, and college health and safety. Students will have the opportunity to explore topics that are relevant to them. Students who are 18 years old will be eligible for a Mental Health First Aid Certification. Students who aspire a career in Health and Wellness are strongly encouraged to register.
